• ScotishPower is committed to providing a safe environment for people who live and work near our developments. The development will be designed, constructed and operated to extremely high safety standards in line with our current operations at Hatfield Moor and Lindholme.
• Storage of natural gas in these reservoirs is a tried and tested means of gas storage and these reservoirs have been in operation now for production and storage of gas for a number of years.
• The development going forward will be scrutinised and regulated by the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency. Once operational the site will be audited on a regular basis.
